Oyster Fritters
1 pt oysters (save the liquid)
1 ½ tsp. baking powder
1 c flour
3 tsp baking soda
1 egg
evaporated milk optional
Dash of paprika

Beat egg, add oyster liquid, then dry ingredients, then oysters.
If mixture is not moist enough add some evaporated milk to the mixture.
Drop spoonfuls, like pancakes, into hot electric skillet that has heated with deep fat.
Fritters are done when golden brown.
